I am a board-certified sports chiropractor dedicated to providing evidence-informed care to athletes and active individuals. Since beginning my practice in 2022, I have been committed to helping patients optimize their movement, recover from injuries, and enhance their performance. I am a proud member of the College of Complementary Health Professions of BC, ensuring that my practice aligns with the highest standards of chiropractic care.
My academic journey began at Simon Fraser University, where I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences (Major) with a Minor in Kinesiology. I later transferred my credits to the University of Western States (UWS), earning a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology (2020). I went on to complete my Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree, graduating Cum Laude, as well as a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine from UWS.
My philosophy of chiropractic care is rooted in a holistic model of health, where every treatment plan is tailored to the individual. I believe that a healthy body is a mobile body, and that better movement is the foundation for overall wellbeing. My approach integrates a diverse range of treatment options, including spinal and extremity adjustments, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercises, and movement-based strategies to help patients achieve long-term results.
Whether you are an elite athlete, weekend warrior, or simply looking to move and feel better, my goal is to support you on your journey to optimal health and performance.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll most likely find me on the dojo floor, training, competing, or teaching karate. I have been practicing Shotokan Karate for over 20 years and currently hold a 4th-degree black belt (ISKF, 2018). My passion for martial arts has taken me across the globe, competing in national and international tournaments in places like Puerto Vallarta, Panama City, Cape Town, Las Vegas, Denver, and every major Canadian province.
Some of my most notable achievements include:
🥇 6x Canadian National Champion in Kata
🏆 Multiple-time ISKF Canadian Men’s Best Competitor
🏆 Multiple-time ISKF BC Men’s Best Competitor
🥉 WKF Canada National Championships Bronze Medalist
🥋 Instructor Trainee (ISKF)
I’ve had the privilege of training alongside world-class karate athletes such as Douglas Brose, Luis Plumacher, Daniel Gaysinski, Kurihara Kazuaki, Okuma Koichiro, and Don Sharp, all of whom have inspired my approach to training and competition.
Beyond Shotokan Karate, my love for martial arts has led me to dabble in Kodokan Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, fencing, and kickboxing, expanding my understanding of movement, strategy, and combat sports. My ultimate dream is to open my own dojo one day, where I can share my passion for karate with the next generation of martial artists.
Whether in the clinic or on the mats, my goal remains the same: to help people move better, perform better, and reach their full potential—both in sport and in life.
